Dusty and Jo Lynn Fisher

Dusty grew up moving around Texas and then settling in Brownwood due to his dad coaching high school and college football. Dusty received a B.S. in Agricultural Communications from Texas Tech University. A little later, he graduated from the Texas Christian University Ranch Management Program. After ten years in the cattle industry and after witnessing a tragic ranch accident, the funeral business presented itself through friends that own a funeral home. Dusty graduated with honors from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services and worked for these friends for several years. Once he attained his license, his dream became owning his own funeral home in the Hill Country. His wife Jo Lynn credits God with leading them to Boerne and to the Ebensbergers. Dusty is very proud to continue to run Ebensberger Funeral Home the way a family should.

Jo Lynn grew up in Lancaster, TX as an only child born to older parents. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She taught elementary and junior high students for 12 years before moving to Boerne. During that time, she presented numerous workshops and seminars for her schools, districts, region, and state. After the first year of marriage to Dusty, they moved to Corsicana, TX for him to manage a large ranch and to be near her parents. Jo Lynn lost her dad, with whom she was extremely close, 6 years ago. Her mother comes to visit often and will most likely move here within the next 2 years. Jo Lynn works closely with Dusty as his assistant to make their business a success. She is still in the process of renovating the funeral home. She also serves on the United Way of Kendall County's Board of Directors. Her most important job though is raising their 2 young boys.

Gary Williams grew up in Amarillo and went on to receive a B.S. degree in Architectural Construction from Texas A&M University. After graduation, he served in the US Army Reserves, obtaining a rank of 1st Lt. He is married to Sheila and they have 3 married sons, 2 granddaughters, and 1 grandson. Gary and Sheila are long-time members of Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio where Gary serves on the Board of Elders and both are active in various Bible studies and church activities. Retiring from the Industrial Construction business after 40 years, Gary received a certificate in Funeral Directing from San Antonio College. Just like the Fishers, Gary is dedicated to carrying on the exceptional service and quality care started by the Ebensbergers in 1882.
