Eloise Stevens "Ellie" Swett
May 10, 1944 - July 17, 2017

Ellie was born May 10th, 1944, in Bandera to Thomas “Tinker” Stevens and Cleo Hubble. She completed high school in Bandera.
Ellie married Richard “Rick” Swett on February 14, 1996, in Bandera. She enjoyed traveling the country with Rick, who traveled extensively in his line of work until illness prevented her from traveling. She lovingly held court with her husband, her children and her grandchildren from the bed to which she was confined for most of the last ten years of her life.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Thomas Henry “Tinker” Stevens and her mother, Cleo Hubble Pyka.
Ellie is survived by her husband Rick, of Bandera; children Terry Knibbe, Jr. and Tara Raab and husband Frank of Bandera and; sisters Lola Shaw and Ola Mahaffey and husband Bob of Bandera, Gracie Blue, of Odessa, Elaine Wade and husband Mark of Boerne; brother Royce “Wes” Stevens and wife Denise of San Antonio; grandchildren Kaitlyn Knibbe, Miranda Knibbe, Garret and Ashleigh Raab; great-grandchildren Bridgett and Rozlynn Blume; niece Dede Overton and husband John of San Antonio, and kinfolk too numerous to name in the Bandera and surrounding area.
