Letricia June Miller
April 12, 1926 – September 23, 2017

Letricia June Judson Miller, age 91, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Saturday, September 23, 2017. A ten-year resident of Boerne, she was born April 12, 1926, in Seattle, Washington and grew up in San Antonio. June graduated from Thomas Jefferson High school in 1944 and went to work at Ft. Sam Houston as a stenographer.
June was active in the Gray Ladies in Macon, Georgia volunteering at the hospital. She was very involved in the PTA and being a Homeroom Mother for her five daughters every year. A consummate Mother and homemaker, June was an excellent cook and passed her skills on to several of her girls. She taught herself quilting in her forties and quilted for over forty years. June also loved embroidery and enjoyed making samplers. She liked working puzzles and doing many kinds of crafts. Her passion was any library and reading. She was an intellectual on the Civil War, English and American History, and great authors. She was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. June also worked for Aetna Insurance and was their top word processor.
She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, George and Violet Judson; her two brothers whom she adored, George Jr. and Millard Judson; and two precious daughters, Carrie Gay Whittaker and Gena June Kimball. She is blessed to be reunited with them all.
June is survived by three daughters, Sally Anne Daniel and her husband Homer, Deborah Mary Danskin and Melody Violet Rubalcaba. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Julie, Anntoinette, Audrea, Jason, Amy, Evan and Spencer; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family would also like to acknowledge the wonderful attention given to June by her caregiver, Stephanie Horton. Stephanie became a best friend to June and she has been welcomed into the family.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Father Don Hughes at Saint John’s Anglican Church in Boerne.
