Obituary for Louise Alice Watson

Louise Alice Watson
January 28, 1933 – December 21, 2017

Louise Alice (Arone) Watson went to be with her daughter, Kimberly, on December 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Dorothy Arone; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pamy Calthorpe and Mr. and Mrs. Vito Arone. Lou is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Dick; her daughter, Wendy Watson; her sister, Shirley Pullano; seven nieces; and two nephews.
Lou met her husband at age 12 and the two had never been apart except for Dick’s tours of duty in Vietnam. Lou was the ultimate Air Force wife. She enjoyed every aspect of moving and supporting her husband in each new assignment around the world. She enjoyed exploring new places, and was truly a people person. Lou was the Officers’ Wives Club President at each of Dick’s Air Force base assignments. She loved playing bridge, walking and entertaining friends. She had great friends, never an enemy.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Boerne, Texas. She will later be interred at the Belmont Cemetery in Belmont, Massachusetts.
