Marlyn Louise Gupton
August 7, 1937 – January 18, 2018

Marlyn Louise Gupton, (nee Noser) passed away at her residence in Boerne, TX Thursday, January 18, 2018 after battling a degenerative disease for the last 8-years. Marlyn was born in St. Louis, MO in 1937 to George A. Noser and Lillian M. Noser formerly of McAllen, TX. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60-years, John Gupton of Boerne, TX; two daughters and two sons, Lisa Gupton of Dallas, TX; Lori Daugherty of Plano, TX; Larry Gupton of Skagway, AK and Lonny Gupton of Odessa, TX; two grandchildren, Meagan and Austin Daugherty of Plano, TX; a brother, George E. Noser of McAllen, TX and a sister Paula Pierson of Weatherford, TX.
Marlyn graduated from McAllen High School, and Pan American College with an education degree and taught English/History at McAllen High School for 30-years.
She was a loving and caring mother, wife, and grandmother who always believed in family values and togetherness. Being a teacher, family birthday parties, holidays, and vacations were special in that they taught all family members cooperation, strength, sharing, respect for one another and others.
