Maxine Bryan Nielsen
1931 - 2017

Maxine Bryan Nielsen went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 25, 2017. She was born September 26, 1931 in Lawton, OK, to Charles and Clara Bryan. Maxine is survived by her husband Lars Nielsen of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX; her daughter, Kelle Kerr; son, Kerry; granddaughter, Tyler; and sister, Peggy (Rocky) Janssen.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. Maxine had an outstanding 32 year Civil Service career with HEW/SSA, including Federal Women's Program Coordinator, to assure equal opportunity within the Department, and as manager of the SSA/TSC office in Fort Lauderdale. In retirement, she volunteered for the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fair Oaks Ranch, and enjoyed activities of the Cibolo Creek Community Church.
Maxine loved all people and always greeted them with a smile of joy. Her urn will rest in the Fredericksburg Der Stadt Friedhof's Columbarium.
