Richard Lee Padilla
August 19, 1947 – June 11, 2018

Richard Lee Padilla passed away at his Boerne home June 11, 2018. Richard was born in San Antonio to Richard Cervantes Padilla and Theresa Castillo Padilla. He graduated in 1965 from Knob Noster High School in Missouri. He is predeceased by his wife, Dora Padilla and his parents. He is survived by his sons David Padilla of San Antonio, TX, and Chris and his wife Kara Padilla of Boerne, TX; his grandchildren, Ava, Zachary, and Andrew Padilla; and his two brothers, Edward Padilla of Dallas, TX, and Jim Padilla of Orlando, Florida.

Richard honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War before entering the Civil Service. He was assigned to the Camp Stanley Base in Boerne and Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio before retiring from Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. Richard also owned and managed an HVAC business in Boerne. After retirement, Richard enjoyed spending time with his sons, David and Chris searching for, collecting and repairing classic cars.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Mission Park North.
