Obituary for Helen Murray

Helen Murray passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, in Boerne at the age of 73. She was born to O.B. and Velma Ables in Ranger, Texas, on July 7, 1944.
Helen worked campus security at Boerne High School for 21 years. Her tough but fair attitude not only earned her the nickname “Rambo,” but also the love and respect of all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her brother, William Ables; her daughter, Jenny Murray; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and too many friends to list.
A viewing service was held at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2017. A graveside service will be held in Ranger, Texas, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.
